Motivation to Run
Who out there is an avid runner? Who feels like they would love to start running but feel they lack the motivation? My name is April and Im a huge fan of running. Im only a mediocre runner but the information I will be providing will relate to the advanced all the way to the beginners. I will be releasing the dates and courses of different races. The committees or organizations that are putting the races together. It is a great way to donate and support non-profit organizations and to bring people together for a good cause. Whatever your reason for running may be you will be able to receive reliable information here and hopefully it will motivate us all enough to get out of the house and get some exercise.

  1. I am a testament to anybody being able to run. I started running in 2007. I ran in the Ogden half marathon and have never looked back. In 2008 I ran in the Wasatch Back, a 12 person relay from Logan to Park City. This year I am running in the SLC Marathon. By the way I run in the Clydsdale Division for us 200+ pounders. I look forward to hearing about your experiences and tips.

  2. You people are out of your collective minds...if our Creator wanted us to run, He would have given us four legs and large lung capacities. Also, we would not have laps with which to place our favorite food or beverage. Laps are conducive to driving...long distances. The only effort required is a slight foot pressure, and some wheel turning on occasion. No sweating, no pulling or stressing of appendages and no exhaustion involved. Did I mention the time factor from point A to point B? It's much more efficient to allow the internal combustion engine to perform than muscle power. But, I do admire your tenacity...from a distance.
